Patent DKB

We captured approximately one hundred thousand of the most recent United State patents from the patent office’s web-based repository and classified them against an engineering taxonomy. The result is a tool that allows users to do concept based searches on U.S. patents across a variety of facets (Firms, Patent Holders, Topics, Keywords, etc) and to conduct these searches in the context of the engineering discipline instead of the generic and unwieldy classification hierarchy inherent in the current U.S. Patent office site. This tool is useful for finding new technologies, researching intellectual property, or performing due diligence in a variety of advanced and relatively esoteric engineering disciplines.
